
Yoga Fitness
Course Description:
This course is designed to provide a fitness-focused approach to the practice of yoga. Students will learn about the benefits of combining yoga with cardiovascular exercise, strength training, and flexibility training. The course will also cover the principles of proper alignment and breath control in yoga postures, as well as the use of props to modify and intensify the practice.

Assessment:
Assessment will be based on attendance and participation, demonstration of proper alignment and technique, and completion of assigned readings and written reflections. Students will also be required to develop a personal yoga fitness plan and submit a final project demonstrating their knowledge and skills in yoga fitness.
